Engineered for seamless inclusion into pre-insulated installations, the fully integrated assembly comprises a robust wafer-design butterfly valve fabricated with a durable ABS body, high-integrity EPDM elastomeric sealing, and metric PE100 SDR11 spigot pipe ends designed for reliable jointing via separate COOL-FIT Type A electrofusion couplers. Actuation is manually controlled using an ergonomic, high-strength hand lever engineered with tactile ratchet position settings, enabling exceptionally precise throttle adjustment alongside secure full-bore shutoff across intermediate regulating angles. To guarantee comprehensive system integrity without thermal bridging or vapour leakages, the factory kit integrates matched PE100 flange adaptors, robust glass-fibre reinforced polypropylene backing flanges featuring embedded steel rings for uniform bolt torque distribution, corrosion-resistant fastening bolts, and factory-engineered insulation half-shells that encapsulate the entire valve assembly. By eliminating condensation, surface sweating, and subsequent external pipework corrosion across temperatures spanning minus 50 degrees Celsius up to plus 60 degrees Celsius at an operating pressure rating of PN10, the pre-insulated butterfly valve package drastically lowers thermal losses and maintenance overheads compared to traditional metal assemblies.
