Ductile iron Y strainers provide reliable mechanical filtration in drinking water supply and neutral liquid piping systems. Installed inline, they protect downstream valves, pumps, flowmeters, and sensitive pipeline equipment from suspended solids and pipe debris. Manufactured with robust EN-GJS-500-7 ductile iron bodies and corrosion-resistant powder epoxy coating (min. 250 μm, RAL 5015), these strainers feature durable stainless steel mesh screens and standard EN 1092-2 flanged connections rated for PN10 and PN16 working pressures.
