The WR 200 welding recorder is an electronic data logging unit manufactured by Georg Fischer (GF Piping Systems), designed to monitor, validate, and document butt fusion joints on manually operated hydraulic machines. As an authorised Georg Fischer distributor, BigWeld supplies the WR 200 to guarantee joint compliance with international standards across utility, gas distribution, and industrial piping networks. The unit guides the operator step-by-step through each fusion phase, verifying critical parameters such as pipe material, diameter, SDR, and welding standards including DVS 2207, UNI 10565, and ISO 21307. It is fully compatible with manual Georg Fischer butt fusion machines across the ECOS, TOP, and KL series.

During jointing, the device logs complete fusion sequences in real time, capturing target and actual values for bead build-up, heat soak, changeover, pressure ramping, and cooling cycles. Its internal memory stores up to 250 complete protocols, protecting documentation against power failure. For immediate verification, the WR 200 incorporates a built-in printer for on-site protocol printouts. Digital data export via the USB interface in TXT and CSV formats enables seamless documentation and database archiving. The system also records operator ID, project numbering, joint sequence codes, and manual GPS coordinates to ensure complete pipeline traceability.

Protected by a robust IP 65 plastic case, the WR 200 withstands dust, moisture, and rough handling on pipeline trenches. Its integrated rechargeable battery delivers up to 10 hours of continuous autonomy, supporting full work shifts without generator dependency. The operating temperature range spans from -10 degrees C to +50 degrees C for reliable field performance. In addition to pre-configured standard norms, 4 customizable welding cycles enable technicians to adjust fusion parameters according to project engineering specifications.
