Designed specifically for metric socket fusion jointing, the component ensures robust, crevice-free, and permanent homogeneous connections when welded according to established industrial thermoplastic procedures. The serrated jointing face profile is precision engineered to optimize compressive contact pressure and surface grip when compressed against elastomeric profile flange gaskets manufactured from EPDM or FKM, ensuring dependable, long-term hermetic sealing during aggressive chemical conveyance. Engineered to pair seamlessly with counterpart grooved flange adaptors and loose backing flanges manufactured from steel-reinforced polypropylene or glass-fibre reinforced polypropylene, the assembly guarantees uniform bolt load distribution while entirely shielding structural hardware from corrosive process fluids.
