The PP 67 degrees elbow is an injection-moulded polypropylene fitting engineered for non-pressure domestic wastewater drainage, rainwater discharge, and internal ventilation networks inside residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Conforming to SR EN 1451-1 specifications, the component provides a precise 67 degrees directional change in piping layouts, optimising gravitational hydraulic flow while minimising flow turbulence, sedimentation, and hydraulic drag. Each fitting features an integrated socket housing equipped with a factory-fitted elastomeric EPDM lip seal, ensuring instant push-fit assembly without requiring adhesives, specialized fusion equipment, or mechanical fasteners. This elastomeric connection reliably accommodates thermal movements and pipeline deflections, working alongside the low material linear expansion coefficient of 0.12 mm/m·K to absorb structural vibrations and act as an intrinsic expansion compensator across the drainage network. Manufactured from high-grade virgin polypropylene, the elbow displays superior mechanical toughness, maintaining high impact resistance even at sub-zero conditions down to minus 15 degrees C. The fitting exhibits robust thermal tolerance, accommodating continuous wastewater discharges at 60 degrees C and handling high-temperature short-term peaks of up to 95 degrees C, making it fully suitable for hot effluents from washing appliances and commercial dishwashers. Its broad chemical neutrality across a pH range of 2 to 12 ensures dependable resistance against domestic detergents, caustic salts, acidic media, and industrial cleaning compounds without stress cracking or polymer degradation.
