The PP elbow 15 degrees is an injection-moulded polypropylene fitting engineered for directional changes in non-pressure domestic soil, waste discharge, and internal ventilation piping systems across residential, commercial, and industrial installations. Manufactured in accordance with SR EN 1451-1, the component features a calibrated single-socket connection equipped with a factory-fitted elastomeric EPDM lip gasket alongside a chamfered spigot insertion end, facilitating rapid push-fit assembly without requiring solvent adhesives, specialized fusion equipment, or mechanical fasteners. This push-fit socket configuration ensures dependable, durable hydraulic sealing even under building vibrations, settlement, or minor structural deflections, while simultaneously absorbing axial linear expansion and contraction cycles. The polypropylene material delivers high thermal resistance, supporting continuous working wastewater temperatures up to 60 degrees Celsius with intermittent peaks reaching up to 95 degrees Celsius, while maintaining excellent mechanical impact resistance down to minus 15 degrees Celsius. Demonstrating exceptional chemical stability across an extensive pH range of 2 to 12, the fitting withstands aggressive effluents containing caustics, inorganic salts, and domestic hot detergents discharged from washing machines and dishwashers. Its extremely smooth inner bore, characterized by a Manning roughness coefficient of 0.01, provides superior abrasion resistance, minimizes flow turbulence, and prevents limescale accumulation or sediment incrustation over an operating lifetime of at least 50 years.
