The double flanged pipe L=600 mm is a rigid spool piece for ductile iron pressure networks, drinking water distribution, irrigation mains and industrial utility infrastructure. Cast from EN-GJS-500-7 ductile iron and manufactured to EN 545 with EN 1092-2 PN16 flanges, it connects flanged components such as gate valves, check valves, flow meters and pump station manifolds over a fixed 600 mm face-to-face length. Supplied in DN50 and DN80.

The EN-GJS-500-7 grade provides high tensile strength and structural stability, with proven behaviour under mechanical loading, ground movement and hydraulic surge. Corrosion protection is a factory-applied powder epoxy coating with a minimum thickness of 250 micron in sky blue RAL 5015, deposited by an automated process that ensures uniform adhesion and pore-free cover across the full internal and external surface. The coating carries WRAS and ACS sanitary approval: it prevents internal tuberculation, keeps head loss low throughout the service life and stays chemically and hygienically neutral for potable water at operating temperatures from 0 to +80 degrees C.

Machined EN 1092-2 PN16 flange faces match the standard metric drilling used on municipal and industrial lines, so the spool bolts straight into existing flange patterns without adaptors. The fixed 600 mm length simplifies layout of valve chambers, pumping stations and confined below-ground pits, while the one-piece cast body removes joint deflection under continuous working pressure and keeps the assembly leak-free.
