The Georg Fischer COOL-FIT 4.0 sliding coupler kit d250-d315 PE100 SDR11 is an engineered pre-insulated jointing solution developed for the seamless, stress-free integration of pre-assembled piping spools, equipment tie-ins, and maintenance sections into industrial secondary cooling networks. Factory manufactured to eliminate mechanical stress during final fit-up on site, the comprehensive kit comprises two high-performance electrofusion couplers, a calibrated central PE100 SDR11 carrier pipe section, and matching factory-moulded insulation half shells. Designed for demanding commercial refrigeration, food and beverage processing, cold storage, and chilled water infrastructure, the internal PE100 media pipe operates at nominal pressures up to 16 bar and withstands fluid medium temperatures ranging from -50 degrees C to +60 degrees C. The core fluid carrier is enveloped by high-efficiency, halogen-free, closed-cell GF HE foam insulation that ensures a continuous, vapor-tight thermal barrier with superior insulation performance, effectively preventing thermal bridges, condensation buildup, and surface moisture formation. An outer jacket composed of robust, impact-resistant black high-density polyethylene shields the insulation assembly against aggressive environmental factors, mechanical abrasion, and weathering in both indoor plant rooms and exposed outdoor installations. Electrofusion jointing through integrated resistance heating wires facilitates rapid, secure, and reproducible welding, ensuring absolute leak-tightness and complete hydraulic integrity across large-diameter cooling distributions without compromising operational flow dynamics or energy efficiency.
