The fully equipped straight PEHD water meter access chamber (diameter 500 mm, height 800 mm) is engineered for residential and municipal service connections. Manufactured from robust high-density polyethylene (PEHD), the chamber ensures high mechanical resistance and complete immunity to soil corrosion. Integrated thermal insulation protects the internal assembly and measuring instruments from extreme winter temperatures, preventing freezing under harsh site conditions.

In this straight configuration, the chamber is pre-assembled with a certified DN20 water meter, two brass union fittings, PEHD d25 pipe, and two PVC-U ball valves (25 mm compression x 3/4" female thread). The unplasticised polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) valves eliminate scale deposition and electrochemical corrosion, ensuring smooth long-term operation. Each valve can be disassembled on site for servicing or cleaning, with spare components readily accessible to sustain an overall system service life of over 50 years.

Complete groundwater tightness is guaranteed by durable elastomeric rubber sealing gaskets at the pipe entry points. The chamber comes standard with an A-15 non-traffic polyethylene cover equipped with an integrated air-cushion anti-frost chamber, which increases structural rigidity and thermal resistance. For heavier surface loads in roadways or commercial areas, compatible covers rated class C-250 or D-400 are available upon request to match project requirements.
