The Georg Fischer Multi/Clamp flanged tapping saddle with an installation length of 750 mm is engineered for robust branching, line extensions, and the mounting of flanged valves or hydrants on large-diameter transmission mains. Fabricated from premium AISI 304 stainless steel, this double-band tapping sleeve provides full-circumference structural support across pipe nominal diameters ranging from DN 400 mm up to DN 800 mm. The heavy-duty 750 mm body length ensures an extended load-distribution zone, minimizing localized stresses on host pipes during hot tapping operations and routine line maintenance under pressurized service conditions.

Manufactured in a certified stainless steel environment, each unit undergoes automated robotic welding and comprehensive chemical passivation to eliminate atmospheric contamination and prevent contact corrosion. The flanged branch outlet complies with EN and DIN PN 10 / PN 16 drilling patterns and features an integrated stainless steel reinforcement ring inside the gasket profile to preserve seal geometry under heavy dynamic loads. Standard sealing is achieved via an NBR waffle-profile gasket compliant with EN 682 for water and gas distribution within a temperature envelope of -10 degrees to +70 degrees Celsius, with EPDM seals compliant with EN 681-1 available on request for drinking water networks operating between -10 degrees and +55 degrees Celsius.

Multi/Clamp flanged tapping sleeves are universally compatible with ductile iron, grey cast iron, carbon steel, asbestos cement, and thermoplastic pipelines such as PEHD, PP-H, and PVC-U. Suitable for both aboveground utility layouts and buried underground utility infrastructures, the system provides installers with a safe, leak-tight solution that prevents long utility shutdowns.
