The PVC-KG multilayer sewer pipe SN8 SDR34 with single socket and elastomeric gasket provides an engineered gravity drainage solution for buried municipal, industrial, and stormwater infrastructure networks subjected to heavy traffic loads. Manufactured using a co-extrusion process according to SR EN 13476-1 and SR EN 13476-2, the pipe features a tri-layer wall construction consisting of a solid inner skin of compact unplasticised polyvinyl chloride, an expanded foamed PVC middle core, and a solid compact outer shell. This structural configuration delivers a nominal ring stiffness of 8 kN/m2 (SDR34) with optimized structural weight and exceptional annular deflection capability, allowing the conduit to transfer backfill and surface loads into the surrounding trench bedding without brittle failure. Engineered for non-pressure conveyance outside building perimeters (application area code U) at installation depths from 0.8 m to 6.0 m, the conduit exhibits high chemical resistance against aggressive soils, industrial effluents, and aqueous solutions across a wide range from pH 2 to pH 12. Operating thermal parameters support continuous sewage transport up to 60 degrees Celsius for diameters 110 to 200 mm and up to 40 degrees Celsius for diameters 250 to 500 mm, with short-term tolerances extending to 60 degrees. The factory-integrated socket features a high-grade EPDM lip seal gasket seated in an engineered groove, maintaining permanent hydraulic tightness even during permissible pipe settlement, ground displacement, or joint deflection. The hydraulic bore provides an ultra-low wall roughness coefficient below 0.01 mm, drastically reducing frictional head loss, inhibiting silt accumulation, and accelerating discharge velocity relative to concrete piping. Available in outside diameters from 110 mm to 500 mm in standardized laying lengths from 1 m to 6 m, finished in RAL 8023 orange, this sewer system has an operational design life exceeding 50 years.
