The PVC-KG multilayer sewer pipe SN4 SDR41 with single socket is engineered for buried gravity sewer and stormwater drainage networks, conveying municipal, industrial, and agricultural effluents outside building footprints. Manufactured through advanced co-extrusion technology according to SR EN 13476-1 and 13476-2, the structural wall comprises three distinct layers: a compact inner PVC-U lining, an intermediate foamed PVC core, and a protective compact outer PVC-U jacket. This multilayer configuration delivers an annular ring stiffness of 4 kN/m2 (SN4 rating, SDR41) with high annular flexibility capable of accommodating reversible soil deflections up to 30 percent without structural rupture, providing equivalent mechanical strength to solid-wall conduits at significantly lower specific weight. Joint integrity relies on an integrated push-fit socket (KGEM) equipped with a factory-installed EPDM synthetic elastomeric sealing gasket seated within a precision-profiled retaining groove, ensuring hermetic containment even under permissible ground settlement or axial deflection. The ultra-smooth bore exhibits an interior hydraulic roughness below 0.01 mm and a Manning coefficient of 0.01, preventing encrustation, eliminating sediment accumulation, and boosting discharge velocities by up to 20 percent compared to conventional concrete piping. Suitable for underground installations at burial depths between 0.8 and 6 meters under medium traffic load conditions, the pipe resists aggressive soil chemistries, salts, and acidic or alkaline media across a pH spectrum of 2 to 12 at continuous operating temperatures up to 40 degrees Celsius for larger cross-sections and 60 degrees Celsius for standard branches (with intermittent thermal peaks up to 60 degrees Celsius).
