The TeraPlast PVC-KG multilayer sewer pipe SN4 is an engineered co-extruded thermoplastic conduit developed for buried non-pressure gravity foul sewage and stormwater drainage networks outside building structures. Manufactured via advanced three-layer co-extrusion technology in full compliance with SR EN 13476-1 and SR EN 13476-2, the structural wall integrates an inner compact unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) skin, an expanded cellular PVC core, and a solid compact PVC-U outer protective layer. This multi-layer construction achieves an optimized strength-to-weight ratio with a nominal ring stiffness rating of SN4 (4 kN/m2, SDR 41), delivering exceptional radial deflection resistance and flexible soil-pipe load transference suitable for installations under roadways with medium traffic loads at burial depths from 0.8 m up to 6 m. Pipe integration and joint integrity are facilitated by an integral single socket equipped with a factory-fitted EPDM elastomeric sealing gasket seated within a profiled retaining groove, maintaining watertight containment against infiltration and exfiltration even during permissible angular deflection or ground settlement. Chemically inert across an aggressive pH range spanning from pH 2 to pH 12, the material offers robust resistance against caustic chemicals, mineral salts, sulfates, and acidic subterranean soils, safely transporting domestic and industrial effluents at operating temperatures up to 60 degrees Celsius. The exceptionally smooth internal bore, characterized by a roughness coefficient below 0.01 mm, prevents sediment incrustation, promotes self-cleaning hydraulic velocity, and yields significantly higher discharge capacity than traditional concrete piping over an expected service life of at least 50 years in standard RAL 8023 orange coloration.
