TeraPlast PVC-U multilayer sewer pipes SN2 SDR 51 with single socket (KGEM) are engineered for underground, non-pressure gravity drainage networks transporting municipal wastewater, industrial effluents, and rainwater outside building perimeters. Manufactured in accordance with SR EN 13476-1 and SR EN 13476-2, these pipes feature an advanced co-extruded three-layer wall profile comprising solid inner and outer unplasticised polyvinyl chloride skins bonded around an intermediate closed-cell foamed PVC structural core. This composite design provides structural mechanical behavior identical to solid-wall conduits while decreasing pipe weight and handling inertia. Rated for a nominal ring stiffness of SN2 (2 kN/m2) under SDR 51, the piping is specifically rated for buried gravity systems installed at depths between 0.8 m and 6 m in green spaces or pedestrian sectors outside vehicular traffic loads. Push-fit jointing is achieved via an integrated single socket fitted with a factory-inserted elastomeric EPDM lip seal, ensuring tight, flexible connections that accommodate soil settlement and axial ground shifts without joint displacement or leakage. The smooth interior hydraulic surface exhibits minimal wall roughness below 0.01 mm, preventing silt accretion, encrustation, and biofilm buildup while maximizing flow velocity at modest installation gradients. Thermally rated for continuous wastewater temperatures up to 60 degrees Celsius for nominal diameters up to 200 mm and 40 degrees Celsius for diameters from 250 mm to 500 mm (with intermittent thermal peaks up to 60 degrees Celsius), the chemically inert PVC-U compound withstands aggressive aqueous media across a pH span of 2 to 12. Colored in orange RAL 8023, the pipeline delivers corrosion resistance, broad media compatibility, and an operational service life exceeding 50 years.
