PVC-KG 45-degree SN4 solvent-welded saddles are engineered for lateral connection of gravity drainage lines directly onto external underground sewer and stormwater collector mains. Fabricated from high-grade unplasticised polyvinyl chloride (PVC-KG) finished in standard RAL 8023 orange, the fitting provides a certified ring stiffness rating of SN4 (4 kN/m²), rendering it fully compatible with both SN2 and SN4 buried piping networks. The contoured saddle base is bonded directly onto the periphery of main sewage pipes spanning d200 mm to d500 mm using solvent cement welding, producing a homogeneous, leak-tight structural joint that withstands dynamic soil shifts and substantial ground settlement. Diverging at an acute 45-degree angle, the integrated discharge branch accepts lateral connections of d160 mm and d200 mm, incorporating a factory-engineered socket groove fitted with an elastomeric EPDM sealing gasket for rapid push-fit pipe integration. This 45-degree branch configuration substantially reduces entry turbulence and directional flow resistance, optimizing hydraulic discharge into the receiving collector without generating backwater pooling or solids buildup.
