PVC-KG double socket coupler with stop SN4 (KGMM) is an injection-molded PVC-U fitting designed for connecting plain-end spigots in non-pressure underground gravity sewer and stormwater drainage networks outside the building structure. Built with an internal center register stop, the coupler precisely controls the insertion depth from both ends, preventing uneven penetration and maintaining balanced axial alignment between adjacent pipe segments. Reliable hydraulic tightness is provided by synthetic elastomeric EPDM lip gaskets pre-seated within the profiled socket grooves, which preserve hermetic sealing against infiltration and exfiltration even when pipes undergo allowable angular deflection or soil settlement. Manufactured from durable unplasticized polyvinyl chloride in standard orange (RAL 8023), the fitting features a ring stiffness rating of SN4 (4 kN/m2), making it suitable for standard and medium-traffic underground installations buried at depths from 0.8 m to 6 m, as well as serving as the standardized fitting class for SN2 piping systems. The inert PVC-U body exhibits exceptional chemical resistance across a broad pH range from 2 to 12, resisting corrosion from caustic agents, acids, domestic detergents, and aggressive ground soils. Thermally rated for continuous operating wastewater temperatures up to 60 degrees C in nominal dimensions from D110 mm to D200 mm and 40 degrees C for D250 mm to D315 mm (with intermittent short-term flows permissible up to 60 degrees C), the component combines high impact resilience with a friction-reducing inner bore that prevents encrustation. Engineered for a service life exceeding 50 years, this coupler provides robust and maintenance-free joints in municipal, industrial, and residential gravitational sanitation infrastructure.
