The PVC-KG 45 degrees branch SN8 SDR 34 is an engineered piping fitting designed for non-pressure underground gravity sewer and stormwater drainage networks outside building footprints. Serving as an essential directional junction, the fitting connects lateral collector branches into main pipelines at a 45-degree angle, minimizing hydraulic turbulence, head loss, and localized sediment buildup. Formulated from robust unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) with an SN8 nominal ring stiffness class of 8 kN/m² corresponding to SDR 34, it withstands substantial static ground pressures and dynamic loads generated by medium and heavy vehicular traffic at burial depths between 0.8 m and 6.0 m. The resilient PVC-U material delivers reliable chemical resistance against aggressive soil agents, caustics, salts, and domestic or industrial chemical effluents across a broad pH range from 2 to 12 at continuous wastewater operating temperatures up to 60 degrees. The interior bore provides ultra-smooth hydraulic walls that virtually eliminate internal deposits and encrustations, sustaining maximum gravitational flow rates and optimal flow velocities. Assembly is conducted via push-fit jointing using profiled socket ends equipped with factory-fitted elastomeric EPDM rubber sealing gaskets, maintaining a secure watertight seal that tolerates minor ground settlement, soil movement, and angular pipe deviations throughout an expected service lifespan of at least 50 years.
