PVC-U branch 45 degrees and 67 degrees SN4 KGEA fittings are injection-moulded components engineered for branching non-pressure underground gravity sewage and rainwater drainage systems outside building structures. Manufactured from unplasticised polyvinyl chloride in RAL 8023 orange, these branch fittings provide a nominal ring stiffness of SN4 (4 kN/m squared), delivering structural integrity for buried infrastructure under medium traffic conditions as well as full backwards compatibility with SN2 piping runs. Branch geometry is precision-formed at nominal diversion angles of 45 degrees and 67 degrees to optimize hydraulic flow transitions and minimize localized head losses in municipal, industrial, and residential drainage collectors. Secure jointing is achieved via precision socket and spigot ends featuring pre-installed elastomeric EPDM synthetic rubber lip gaskets housed in profiled socket grooves. This push-fit sealing mechanism accommodates permissible axial ground movements and minor angular deflections while maintaining continuous, watertight sealing under operational soil loads. The high chemical inertness of PVC-U protects the fitting against corrosive wastewater components, caustics, inorganic salts, and aggressive soil environments across a pH operating range from 2 to 12. Operating media temperatures reach continuous ratings up to 60 degrees Celsius for diameters DN 110 to 200 mm and 40 degrees Celsius for diameters DN 250 to 500 mm, with transient exposure up to 60 degrees Celsius permissible across all diameters. Smooth inner wall surfaces provide hydraulic roughness values below 0.01 mm, suppressing the accumulation of suspended solids, mitigating sediment adhesion, and sustaining unimpeded gravity conveyance throughout an operational service life exceeding 50 years.
