The PVC-KG access pipe SN4 KGRE is an unplasticised polyvinyl chloride inspection and cleaning fitting engineered for non-pressure buried gravity sewer and storm water drainage networks installed outside building perimeters. Designed to integrate directly into gravity collector lines, the component incorporates a dedicated inspection branch sealed with a secure, gasketed access cover that allows maintenance crews to execute pipeline rodding, unblocking, mechanical flushing, and closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera diagnostics without disrupting normal system operation. Socket connection geometry featuring factory-installed EPDM elastomeric lip seals ensures a rapid push-fit assembly that maintains permanent water-tightness even under permissible pipeline deflection, soil settling, or thermal expansion. Rated at an SN4 ring stiffness of 4 kN/m², the fitting provides robust mechanical resistance against underground soil compaction and medium surface traffic loads at burial depths ranging from 0.8 to 6 metres, functioning reliably with both SN4 and SN2 external sewer piping. The exceptionally smooth internal PVC-U surface reduces hydraulic resistance to a minimum, preventing scale buildup, solid sedimentation, and encrustation to sustain maximum volumetric flow capacity throughout the network. In addition to high mechanical durability, the inert PVC-U formulation guarantees superior chemical resistance against acidic and alkaline wastewater, soil chemicals, caustics, and mineral solutions spanning a pH range from 2 to 12 at continuous operating temperatures up to 60 degrees Celsius.
