Profiled backing flange steel
GF Piping Systems Profiled Backing Flange PN6 – engineered for butt fusion PE metric piping systems. Constructed from glass-fibre reinforced polypropylene (PP) with a GGG 50 ductile iron insert, ensuring structural integrity under load. Connecting dimensions comply with ISO 7005, EN 1092, and DIN 2501 standards. Available in pipe diameters d710–d900 (DN700–DN900), rated at PN6. The profiled face aligns precisely with the flange adaptor collar, while the flat face accommodates standard bolt and washer assemblies. Bolt circle: PN10 pattern; bolt sizes M27–M30; 24–28 bolt holes. Galvanized steel S235-JR variant (d710–d900) available for underground installation. Manufactured from 100% virgin PE100+ approved resins under ISO 9001 quality management.
