The Georg Fischer KLIP-IT Type 061 pipe clip is an engineered thermoplastic support for metric industrial piping. Moulded from UV-resistant polypropylene (PP), it retains metric PVC-U pipe from outside diameter d10 mm up to d160 mm with a snap-fit action, holding axial alignment while the line follows its normal thermal expansion and contraction cycles, without point loading or abrasion of the pipe wall.

The defining feature of the Type 061 series is its calibrated profile height: the distance between the mounting face and the pipe centreline is matched to Georg Fischer ball valves, including Type 546 Pro and Type 542 from d16 up to d63. An in-line valve therefore sits on the same axis as the pipe run, with no shims, spacers or deflection of the pipe required. The clamping tension is engineered so that the clip works as an axial guide in sliding supports, or as a fixed point when combined with the matching retention clips and spacers.

Polypropylene provides high chemical resistance to saline solutions, diluted acids and alkaline media, while the UV stabilisation keeps the mechanical properties stable in indoor plant rooms and on outdoor pipe bridges alike. The mounting base has a recessed centre hole for standard threaded fasteners and mechanical anchors, so the clip is fixed directly to strut channel, structural steel or masonry. Typical applications are chemical processing, industrial water treatment and utility networks.
