Georg Fischer lubricant for gasket jointing is a technical assembly compound engineered specifically for push-fit socket connections across Silenta polypropylene (PP) sound-insulated soil and waste water piping systems. Formulated as a silicone-based lubricating medium, the compound significantly lowers sliding friction when inserting chamfered spigot pipe ends into rubber-gasketed sockets across Silenta Extreme, Silenta Premium, Silenta 3A, and Silenta FR drainage networks. By eliminating excessive insertion resistance, the lubricant prevents the elastomeric sealing ring from pinching, displacing, twisting, or suffering surface shearing within its profiled socket groove during assembly, thereby safeguarding long-term hydraulic water tightness and gas-tight joint integrity. The chemically neutral formulation ensures complete physical and chemical compatibility with polypropylene pipe walls, mineral-reinforced composite structures, and elastomeric push-fit gaskets, preserving their elasticity, dimensional stability, and sealing memory without degrading or hardening the synthetic rubber. In addition to facilitating fast and effortless axial alignment of pipes, elbows, branches, and cleanout fittings, the lubricating layer ensures that assembled push-fit joints retain proper axial flexibility to accommodate linear thermal movements within fixed and sliding clamping arrangements across aboveground and underground domestic drainage stacks. Available in standard packaging sizes of 250 g (code MFD0502) and 500 g (code MFD0503), this technical lubricant provides a clean, homogeneous, and reliable application that maintains total installation integrity throughout residential, commercial, and industrial wastewater systems.
