TeraPlast GRINPipe PVC-U sewer pipes SN8 SDR 34 provide a high-performance, ecologically optimized solution for buried non-pressure gravitational sewer and stormwater networks outside building footprints. Designed for application area code U at installation depths between 1 and 6 meters under medium to heavy road traffic loadings, each pipe features a co-extruded three-layer wall incorporating 50 percent recycled material. The construction combines solid inner and outer structural skins of virgin and recycled PVC-U with an intermediate expanded recycled PVC-U core, achieving exceptional mechanical ring stiffness of 8 kN/m² while reducing overall component weight. The exterior is finished in standard orange RAL 8023, while the high-contrast bright white interior wall is specifically engineered to optimize robotic CCTV inspection, leak detection, and pipeline maintenance. Hydraulic efficiency is maximized by an ultra-smooth internal wall boasting a Manning roughness coefficient of 0.01, preventing particulate deposition, bio-sludge accumulation, and scaling while sustaining high flow velocities across gravitational gradients. Jointing is executed with chamfered spigot ends and synthetic rubber elastomeric sealing rings certified to EN 681-1, providing durable, leak-tight connections that accommodate subterranean settlement and angular deflection without compromising sealing integrity. Chemically inert against aggressive soil constituents and effluents ranging from pH 2 to 12, the pipe withstands operational temperatures up to 60 degrees Celsius, ensuring an estimated service life exceeding 50 years across external industrial, residential, and infrastructure wastewater systems across nominal dimensions from DN 160 up to DN 500.
