The ELGEF Plus PE100 flange adaptor from Georg Fischer (GF Piping Systems) is the long-version stub end used to terminate a polyethylene pressure line in a demountable flanged connection. It is supplied in SDR 11 across the full d20 to d800 mm range and is rated at 16 bar for water and 10 bar for gas, with FM 1613 approval at PN 15 for sizes d90 to d500. The long spigot provides the parallel length needed for clamping and welding, which is why this version is specified on mains, pump sets and valve stations where the flanged break has to be opened for service. The jointing face is a combined flat and serrated geometry, offered as Type A without chamfer and Type B with chamfer, so the adaptor seals against a wide range of mating flanges and gasket types. Profile seals in NBR, EPDM and FKM cover d20 to d800, while flat gaskets are used from d20 to d315. On the pipe side the spigot is joined by infrared, butt fusion or electrofusion welding in accordance with DVS 2207, so the same fitting suits workshop prefabrication and trench work without forcing a change in the welding method used along the line.

Dimensionally the series runs from a 1.9 mm wall at d20 up to a 74.0 mm wall at d800, manufactured from virgin PE100 resin. The adaptor is dimensioned for direct mounting of plastic butterfly valves up to DN300 (Types 567 and 578) and metal butterfly valves up to DN250 (Types 038, 039, 044 and 065), so valve, backing flange and pipe form one coherent assembly in water supply, irrigation and industrial process networks.
