The Georg Fischer ELGEF Plus Stop-Off Saddle Kit in PE100 (SDR11) is engineered for professional live main tapping and flow-stopping operations on pressurized polyethylene distribution pipelines. Covering main pipe dimensions from d63 mm to d400 mm, this electrofusion saddle system guarantees complete gas-tight and leak-proof performance during under-pressure drilling and isolation procedures. Rated for operating pressures up to 16 bar for water applications and 10 bar for natural gas networks, it delivers maximum operational safety for municipal utilities and critical industrial distribution infrastructure.

Each modular kit comprises a precision-molded PE100 saddle base, a lower clamp half, a dedicated sealing plug, and a robust Stop-Off insert manufactured from CW617N dezincification-resistant brass. The brass insert features a standardized Rp 2½" external connection thread alongside an Rp 2" internal thread, ensuring seamless direct interface with universal under-pressure tapping equipment and stop-off drilling gear. The system accommodates maximum drilling cutter diameters of 39 mm for d63–d75 mm pipes, 50 mm for d90 mm pipes, and 56.5 mm for large diameters from d110 mm to d400 mm across pipe wall classes SDR 9 through SDR 33.

Manufactured from high-grade virgin PE100 compound, the saddle features integrated 4 mm connection pins and dynamic limited-path fusion indicators that provide visual confirmation of completed electrofusion jointing. Designed in compliance with EN 1555-3 and EN 12201-1 international manufacturing standards, the fitting exhibits superior mechanical resistance and long-term chemical durability across broad utility temperature ranges.
