The CONNEX junction with adjustable socket 0–11 degrees provides an engineered, flexible mechanical branch connection solution for non-pressure buried gravity sewer systems. Designed for direct tie-in onto main collector pipelines ranging from outer diameter 200 mm up to 500 mm, this specialized saddle junction accommodates branch pipe connections in nominal dimensions DN 160 mm and DN 200 mm. At the core of the fitting is an integrated spherical ball socket mechanism that permits stepless angular deflection from 0 to 11 degrees in any direction. This multidirectional articulation absorbs differential soil settlement, structural movement, shear forces, and thermal contraction or expansion, ensuring full hydraulic continuity without transferring bending stresses onto the main collector pipe wall. The assembly integrates high-performance elastomeric EPDM seals that guarantee permanent hermetic watertightness even under dynamic underground loads and slight axial variations. Installation requires core drilling through the pipe barrel using specialized hole saws—specifically 162 mm diameter for DN 160 branches on collectors sized 200 mm to 315 mm, and 200 mm diameter for DN 160 on 400 mm to 500 mm collectors as well as DN 200 branches across 250 mm to 500 mm collectors. The robust clamping and seating geometry accommodates maximum main pipe wall thicknesses of 15.0 mm on smaller collector profiles and up to 31.8 mm on heavier-gauge pipes with internal diameters spanning from 185 mm up to 513 mm. Fabricated from premium unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U), the body delivers comprehensive chemical resistance across a pH range of 2 to 12 against aggressive industrial effluents, acidic domestic wastewater, and corrosive ground chemistries, operating continuously at effluent temperatures up to 60 degrees Celsius.
