The ELGEF Plus Bend 90 degrees from Georg Fischer (GF Piping Systems) is an injection-moulded PE100 fitting in the SDR11 series, supplied with spigot ends in diameters from d32 to d500 mm (DN25-DN500). It is rated for 16 bar in water distribution and 10 bar in gas networks, and its compact 1xd bending radius keeps flow resistance low and installation dimensions predictable where a wide-radius seamless-pipe bend will not fit the trench or the chamber.

Wall thickness follows the SDR11 series across the whole range, from 2.9 mm at d32 to 45.5 mm at d500, so the bend matches the pipe it is welded to without reducing the pressure class of the line. The z dimension runs from 78 to 710 mm and the spigot length L from 46 to 212 mm, while the bend radius R equals the nominal diameter (32 to 500 mm) and the total length reaches 960 mm on the largest size. The spigot ends accept both electrofusion, using ELGEF Plus couplers, and conventional butt fusion, so the same fitting serves for workshop prefabrication and for repair work on site.

The body is moulded from virgin PE100 resin approved by the PE100+ Association and carries a certified service life of 100 years in utility applications. It complies with EN 12201 for water and EN 1555 for gas, and holds DVGW, KIWA and FM 1613 approvals (15 bar on selected sizes), together with DNV-GL, Bureau Veritas and Lloyd's Register marine classification for shipbuilding and offshore installations. Typical applications include drinking water mains, irrigation headers, gas distribution, industrial process lines and fire-protection networks.
