The automation assembly incorporates a high-performance double-acting pneumatic actuator protected by an impact-resistant, glass-fibre reinforced polypropylene (PP-GF) housing. Actuation operates smoothly at a nominal control air pressure of 4.2 bar, achieving a fast 90 degrees operating stroke in approximately 1 to 2 seconds. The actuator features an integrated NAMUR interface in accordance with VDI/VDE 3845 for direct mounting of solenoid pilot valves, positioners, and limit switch boxes, accompanied by an optical visual indicator that provides immediate operational status feedback to plant personnel.

Mechanical integrity and flow performance are enhanced through double eccentric disc kinematics. This geometry lifts the PP-H disc away from the elastomer sealing profile immediately upon opening, substantially reducing friction, preventing premature seat wear, and lowering operating breakaway torque. Depending on the chemical composition and temperature profile of the handled media, the valve is configurable with premium EPDM or FKM sealing gaskets, ensuring tight bidirectional shut-off across full pressure ratings.
