The Georg Fischer PROGEF Standard 3-Way ball valve type 543 Pro P delivers automated fluid distribution, diverting, and mixing across industrial piping networks. Engineered from beta polypropylene homopolymer (β-PP-H), this unit combines robust thermoplastic chemical resistance with high-precision pneumatic automation. The horizontal T-port ball design enables versatile flow routing between three branches, while standard metric socket fusion spigots ensure homogeneous, leak-tight jointing with PROGEF PP-H pipelines.

Equipped with a compact pneumatic actuator operating in fail-safe closed (FC) mode, the assembly provides dependable fail-safe positioning during pressure loss. The actuator features a glass-fibre reinforced polypropylene (PP-GF) housing offering outstanding resistance against corrosive industrial atmospheres, acids, and chemical vapours. Built with an integrated VDI/VDE 3845 NAMUR interface running at 5.6 bar control pressure, the valve allows seamless integration of positioners, limit switches, and pilot solenoid valves.

Internal sealing is achieved through pure PTFE ball seats paired with resilient backing cushions in either EPDM or FKM elastomers, maintaining low operating torque and zero leakage (leak rate A per EN 12266 and ISO 9393-2). Integrated stainless steel threaded inserts in the valve body base guarantee direct, tension-free mounting on pipe supports and brackets without straining the pipeline. An integrated optical position indicator provides continuous, immediate visual verification of current port orientation and valve state on site.

Rated for an operating pressure of 10 bar (PN10) across nominal diameters d16 to d63 mm (DN15 to DN50), the 543 Pro P series conforms to long-term hydrostatic durability requirements with an intended 25-year operational life in industrial water and effluent applications. Standardised Z-dimensions offer complete backward dimensional interchangeability, enabling direct drop-in replacement in legacy Type 543 and 285–288 installations without modifying pipe spool lengths.
