The Georg Fischer PROGEF Standard 3-way ball valve Type 543 Pro in beta-PP-H provides versatile flow control, diverting, and mixing capabilities for industrial piping systems, chemical processing, and water treatment installations. Engineered with a horizontal T-port ball geometry, this unit enables flexible distribution between three pipe branches across demanding flow setups. The valve body and fusion sockets are manufactured from high-grade isotactic polypropylene homopolymer (beta-PP-H), ensuring exceptional chemical resistance against acids, alkalis, and inorganic solvents, combined with high impact strength and long-term hydrostatic endurance rated up to 10 bar (PN10) at 20 degrees Celsius.

At the heart of the Type 543 Pro is an advanced sealing concept featuring precision-machined PTFE ball seats backed by elastomeric O-rings in either EPDM or FKM. This resilient backing design maintains constant actuation torque throughout operational cycles and reliably compensates for thermal variations or minor system pressure fluctuations. Operating safety is reinforced by a double-sealed stem with a predetermined shear breaking point located outside the primary seal, preventing media leakage into the atmosphere in the event of mechanical overload. Integrated buttress threads on the union nuts distribute axial loads evenly, while metric socket fusion connections ensure homogenous, permanent, and leak-free jointing with PP-H piping.

Designed for straightforward installation and operational rigidity, the valve body incorporates integrated stainless steel threaded inserts in the base, facilitating secure mounting on pipe brackets, clips, or panels without subjecting the thermoplastic housing to mechanical stress. The ergonomic hand lever is equipped with an integrated locking mechanism to secure flow positioning and includes a built-in disassembly tool for servicing the union bushings. The modular housing is natively engineered for actuation; removing the manual lever allows direct installation of Georg Fischer electric or pneumatic actuators and position feedback units, delivering an automation-ready solution for modern industrial process piping.
