The Georg Fischer ecoFIT 90° Elbow is a PE80 socket fusion adaptor fitting designed for industrial PE piping systems. Rated at PN10 / SDR11, it features a fusion socket on one end and a reinforced parallel female thread (Rp) on the other, enabling direct transition between PE pipework and threaded metal or plastic components. The stainless steel (A2) reinforcing ring ensures structural integrity at the threaded connection under mechanical load. Available in sizes d20–d40mm (Rp ½" to Rp 1¼"), conforming to DIN standards. Installation requires low mechanical stress; avoid thread sealants harmful to PE and large cyclic thermal variations. Part of the complete +GF+ ecoFIT PE100/PE80 industrial piping system.
