The Georg Fischer MSA 4.0 is a high-performance electrofusion unit built on advanced inverter technology, delivering voltage-controlled fusion across an 8–48 V output range with a maximum current of 110 A. Rated IP65 and operational from -20°C to +50°C, it is engineered for demanding site conditions. The unit automatically logs GPS coordinates with every fusion record, supporting full traceability per ISO 12176-4. Internal memory stores up to 5,000 protocols, exportable as PDF, CSV, or BIN via USB. Built-in Bluetooth enables remote monitoring and wireless data transfer via smartphone. The long-range 1D/2D barcode scanner, icon-based interface, and configurable workflow minimize operator error. Automatic energy compensation adjusts output based on ambient temperature. The robust aluminium die-cast enclosure weighs 12.8 kg. Includes transport case, 4 mm and 4.7 mm angle adapters, START/STOP badge, and USB flash drive with PC software.
